PTFE Membrane Filter
This product is a high-performance filter equipped with an ePTFE (expanded polytetrafluoroethylene) membrane that has a three-dimensional porous structure formed by stretching the fluororesin PTFE, and has high chemical resistance, heat resistance, and durability.
The ePTFE membrane that composes the filter is highly hydrophobic, repelling water and aqueous liquids, and has a three-dimensional porous structure with many fine pores, allowing air and gas to pass through, while also having good particle capture performance, allowing it to be used to efficiently capture or remove fine particles. Some products have a hydrophilic treatment on the surface of the ePTFE membrane, which is suitable for blocking particles and allowing aqueous liquids to pass through the membrane. In addition to filters with only ePTFE membranes, our product lineup also includes composite membrane filters in which the ePTFE membrane is bonded to a PP nonwoven fabric as a support material.
PTFE membrane filters are used in many different industrial fields. For example, they are used in the pharmaceutical, biomedical, electronics, and chemical industries for high-purity gas and solvent filtration, air filtration, chemical liquid filtration, and bioprocessing. They are also said to be suitable for filtration in harsh environments because they can withstand high temperature and pressure conditions. They are chemically stable, resistant to many chemicals, and non-adhesive, so foreign matter does not easily adhere to the filter surface and maintenance is easy.
